UV / IR Cut Off Filters
We provides UV/IR cut filters that effectively transmit averagely 96% of visible light while blocking off both UV and IR-light.
KUPO Optics provides UV/IR cut filters that effectively transmit averagely 96% of visible light while blocking off both UV and IR-light.
Similar to hot mirrors, our UV/IR cut filters can be placed between light sources and optical system to protect optical glasses and other components from heat-related damages.
Our UV/IR cut filters can also be placed on cameras of surveillance, machine vision, and automatic inspection systems to improve image quality and protect delicate sensor chips from damaging UV and IR-light.
Glass Substrates
The glass substrates are the most fundamental and critical for making optical filters.
In order to ensure the quality, KUPO Optics uses optical grade glasses to produce perfect filters.
Borofloat Glass
Thickness: 1.1mm, 2.0mm, 3.3mm, 3.8mm
Heat Resistance: Up to 450℃
Borosilicate Glass (D263T)
Thickness: 0.21mm, 0.3mm, 0.55mm
Heat Resistance: Up to 450℃
Sodalime Glass
Thickness: 1.1mm, 2.0mm, 2.9mm
Heat Resistance: Up to 150℃
Sodalime Glass
